Gulf Water Kennels was established in 2010, although our history with dogs and other pets has an extensive array of experiences. We started Gulf Water Kennels when we decided to breed our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Jersey. She is out of Silverbar Kennels in New Jersey. She is currently almost 6 years old and this was her first litter. Her breeders, Patsy Barber and Joanne Silver have individually been breeding Chessies for over 25 years.
